Spring Is Here

Spring has landed and we have some news about events we are supporting and details of the next fantastic Night Market.

First off we have the House Of Rhythm who have come up with an event that combines the best of Hip Hop Culture which includes all aspects including graffiti art and break dancing.

A brand new series of Hiphop workshops and events coming to Cardiff…

The first event is on Thursday the 5th March at Kongs Level Two Cardiff

Split into two parts, the event is comprised of creative community led Workshops (from 18:00- 20:00) and a night of Live Performances.

The workshops focus on the roots and foundations of Street Art and Breakdance and are led by local artists, providing a platform for them to share their knowledge with the local community.

The lineup for the evening (22:00- 03:00) encompasses Afrocluster’s Skunkadelic and Dj Veto, Vinyl DJ, DJ Propersoul and Grassroot’s up and coming artists Neeks and Bailey King.

By working with Grassroots, House of Rhythm have not only provided a professional platform for these flourishing artists to perform but also acted as mentors. Through helping them to develop their portfolio by working with sound engineers such as Edward Clapton and photographers such as Mehek Seth, House of Rhythm has assisted in their growth not only as performers but as entrepreneurs.

Make sure to come and support some of Cardiff’s uprising talent, with the chance of learning a new skill and seeing some of the best acts that Cardiff’s hiphop scene has to offer.
